North Jutland in Action: Industrial Decarbonisation from Aalborg to Frederikshavn

This online event gives you an interesting short insight into an industrial region in northern Denmark: Aalborg & Frederikshavn | North Jutland

The North Jutland industrial region centred around Aalborg and Frederikshavn is consistently driving forward industrial transformation in the field of decarbonisation. A clear climate policy agenda, entrepreneurial ingenuity and the close integration of business, academia and public institutions have made this region in Denmark a benchmark for the decarbonisation of energy-intensive sectors.

Stig Aagaard, Energy Attaché at the Danish Embassy in Berlin, and Thilde Møller Larsen from Green Hub Denmark will demonstrate how economic development and consistent climate action can be successfully combined. Our CDI partners KYOTO and EVERLLENCE will share practical insights: they will provide an overview of their successful activities in Denmark relating to thermal storage technologies (KYOTO | Aalborg ) as well as low carbon propulsion technologies for shipping by combining conventional marine fuel with ethanol or methanol (Everllence | Frederikshavn).
