Six companies from the energy-intensive industry form the Advisory Board – a consultive body for the Cluster Decarbonisation in Industries (CDI). The members provide entrepreneurial and interdisciplinary expertise. In this way, they support the steering group in the customized development of the cluster into an innovative partner network for a greenhouse gas-neutral industrial future.
Introducing the members of the CDI Advisory Board
Tasks and objectives of the Industrial Advisory Board
The appointed members fulfill the following tasks on the CDI Advisory Board:
- they strengthen the perception of the industry perspective in the cluster,
- they promote regional and national networking,
- they set new topics,
- they provide entrepreneurial and interdisciplinary expertise,
- they provide practical experience on decarbonization.
As its first work package, the Advisory Board participated in a study commissioned by the CDI. On the one hand, the publication deals with the biggest obstacles on the path to decarbonization of German industry and, on the other hand, explores what contribution the CDI can make to solving them.
